Sloppy Joe,

Once upon a time, there was young lady, who drove this great looking car!
She loved her car, it took her everywhere. People would look at this beautiful car and just stand in awe..

then one night as she is pulling into her drive way. She see that her lovely dog is chasing something..which is normally okay, but they got rather close to her car..she was worried..and her fears increased when she realized it was a skunk rather than a harmless animal..

She pulls into the driveway, and all of a sudden she realizes that there is the horrifying smell...it is all over her car, in her car and on her as well.. her poor dog..he was going crazy trying to get the smell off of himself...i have touched my dog for three days..the smell as finally come out of my car..and life seems to be getting back to normal!

Tonight i went to my friend, Lisa's house..we watched Shark Tale, which was okay..not as impressive as shrek but it was good...then we went back to her house where we watched the best of Adam Sandler, SNL...I love this man..i want to be his wife!! He is so cute and ohmygoodness..i just want him..is that wrong?? I dont't know, I am not sure i even care..I like him!

Random thought of the moment!

So the other day, I was washing my whites..
Just to make sure they stay extra white, i put bleach in the water. who doesn't?
Only whenever i brought up the bottle of bleach to put the lid on it,
bleach dripped out of the spout thingie and dropped on my cool sock!

At first it looked like nothing was going to happen. But ya all know how bleach works.
we know that it will turn anything that is not white, white..

so i stared at it and waited and waited, and guess what happened?

Yeppers,

Dude, before i knew it, it began to turn white!! It was the craziest thing..cuz it just kept going, i thought it was going to turn most of my sock white..but it didn't..which is cool..now i have this interesting white circle on my red glittery sock!!

Geez, how do you spell inquiring?? Is that right? I don't know..

Just to let everyone know, I live in a town with about 7,000 people.
There are cornfields surrounding the outer area of the town, and deer roam freely throughout this wonderful place. We recently got a movie theatre this feb., yes ladies and gents only about 9 months ago. before that we had to drive 45 min. to an hour to get to the nearest city with a movie theatre, mall and anything worth going to.

The most exciting thing that can happen around here, is 4 wheeling, mudding, going to walmart, and cruising the strip..about a 2 mile stretch from DQ to Mcdonalds, on the opposite ends of town...soon we will be able to have fun by going t.p. ing (throwing rolls of toilet paper up in peoples trees, to show how much we really love them) In our area, mine is the biggest town, we are the big city...with all the cool happenings..

So if i go to walmart a lot, that is the reason...It's the only place worth going too, without having to drive an hour depending on traffic and weather..I know it may seem like sheer laziness, however, time just does not allow me to drive that as often as i would like!!

So anyway, hope you all enjoyed, this addition of Dawna's life..
Now i am going to grocery store to buy some fruit.

fighting the urge to run!

Do you ever have those days where you just feel like doing nothing? Where laziness has crepted in and you just want to lay in bed or maybe just barely move. Where that was yesterday(friday) but it is rather hard when you have two little children, hanging on your every move!! Hee hee..yet, i love those kids like they were my own.

The highlight, was when Tim, called me. I miss him so much!! It was so cool to just laugh and talk about life. It was really good.

I had my girls group last night. It was really strange. We had our first short little bible study thing. Course only 2 girls were there. But i love them both very much. I think they thought that we were just going to goof around the whole time. I don't know. It was one of the first discouragements of the evening. The cool part was that we played hide and go seek in the basement of the church. I almost peed my pants so many times. but it was so much fun. oh yea, it was in the dark on top of it!! Which i sort of was scared at first, cuz i had been in here before and there were sounds coming from the other room, like someone was in here. It scared me. then we went to walmart, looked around for a bit, it was here that i learned that words have a major effect on you. Even though sometimes you can put a smile on your face and pretend that it didn't bother you. Than other times, it is exactly what you don't need to hear. I have been having issues with my weight. Something that i always struggle with, but it still bothers me, and for the last week or so, it has been a big problem. Last night, one of the girls kept saying these comments. It was like she was telling me that i was fat and if i kept going like i was, that i wouldn't be able to even walk around walmart. With out trouble. It wasn't just one time, it was many times. I know what you are thinking, I went to the school of ministry, i shouldn't have this problem!! hee hee...

Then today, we went with a group of us, to Terre Haute (the nearest big city in Indiana) to watch a movie. Raise your Voice (Hilary Duff) not really one i would really have liked to seen, i don't really like hilary duff..but i thought maybe...it did surprise me and i rather enjoyed it. We then went to the christian bookstore and mall. At the book store, we were looking at some t-shirts, and i found one that i liked, then another comment was made. It hasn't been the greatest couple of days...but there has been some good things.

God is faithful and I just need to remember who I am in Him, and that He loves me, even if i have a pudge!! or am not supermodel skinny!! Thank you Jesus

oh and i ran a red light and almost killed everyone in my car... so that was interesting..

These things are addicting

Okay, so today i took the twins to walmart, it was so funny..they had to get stickers and it took like forever for them to pick them out, then everytime we would see something with spiderman or Nemo on it, the would yell out "SPIDERMAN" "NEMO" at the top of their lungs, causing everyone that was within the close hearing distance to turn around with the dirtiest looks you could imagine..

but it was hilarious in my book..

then i came home i saw my dad working on the yard, and dude, i love living in the country!! but he had this pick tracker with the digger thing on top..dude, i tried to talk him into letting me drive it, but he wouldn't let me..which was rather disappointing, but i got to rake up the dirt and that was fun, getting dirty and stuff..dude..i love it..

E.T. phone home

Tonight we were suppose to have worship practice, but was cancelled for good reasons. However it got me thinking about how often i am in this building. Which i guess isn't really a bad thing, but it's just crazy.. Now you may be asking yourself well how often does she go to church. Well, folks it is not once or twice, or even three times, nope it is about every day. Sunday, monday i was here for like 3 hours printing out pictures, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, depending on what's going on, probably saturday as well. now it is one thing if you work at the church, cuz that is somewhat understandable, but when i work for like 9 hours then purposely come here, instead of going home, or am home like 2 hours only to be here for church. there just seems to be something wrong with that..I don't know maybe it is me.

Tim, I just want you to know that persimmons are real, they grow on trees all around here..i can't even describe them to you, cuz they aren't like anything you have probably seen, and the taste is even more strange, but i love to eat them, just picked off the ground..umm..you can make cookies and all kinds of things with them..Picking them up for work, though is not as fun! you get to crawl around on your knees and then if you miss one, you squish it with your knee and it is just a big mess...but it's all good!

And for the one that asked about the apple cider, it was nice and warm, it was so great..otherwise i don't think i could have enjoyed it that much! Just thinking about it gives me warm fuzzies!! You canadians think that everything came from Canada, well, we will see about that!! oh i'm sorry did i just hurt your feelings?? HA HA HA HA!! You all just wish you were as cool as us americans!! The only thing you all have going for ya is that you have better side of Niagra Falls.. Is it wrong that i think of viagra whenever is say Niagra?? anyway, i'm just playing around with ya. You know i love ya, canadians..

well, gee, i think that this i my longest blog, so i'll be signing off now.

Ya know, if i had a hot air balloon and portable oven. I would ride in it every other night just to eat my pizza at 3,000 feet...

I have fallen in Love!!

So, i have finally been able to print out the many pictures from SoM from the cd's that i have gathered..which is crazy all in itself, but it's funny to go back through them and see all the good times that we have had..and tears well up in my eyes, cuz i miss you all so much!! well, only part of that is true. But it's fun! Friday, i had my girls group and we ended up watching a movie. It wasn't really boring, but there were moment where i wanted to poke my eyes out!! However we had a fun evening. Saturday i went to my friends birthday party, oh my goodness. I fell head over heels for someone at the party! I don't know how it happened, but man when our tastes buds met, it love at first taste!! We had to go and be alone for awhile, away from everyone! I can't believe how wonderful this feels!! Hee hee.. His name is Apple Cider..oh wow! okay so actually it was a drink, but man when i tasted it, it was heaven, it was so wonderful! So here i am on yet another rainy monday afternoon, printing off pictures, and dreaming about my apple cider. Now I will say farewell to you all! For my brain as gone off to never never land and I must be going!

By the way...

The whole pizza and higher altitude thing, i was asking this question to my friends, and one of them pointed out how the people in colorado might actually cook their pizza's at a higher altitude, due to the mountain where they might actually be living on. So yea, that was fun..

Did you know....

That on the back of the Digiorno Pizza, ya know the one that has the amazing crust for an oven pizza..it says that if you are cooking the pizza at a higher altitude, like over 3,000 feet, to cook it at 375 degrees.
Who cooks pizza at 3,000 feet?? I don't know.

The most exciting thing in the world!!

Dude, i forgot to mention that my sister wasn't in trouble..sort of, it's really a long story, but i thought i better put that on there. Keep her reputation healthy!
The last two days, (wednesday and thursday) i have not baby sat, due to the rain..the people i babysit for the guy only works when the weather is nice, which i cool, but not so cool..since i sort of need all the money i can get right now. so yea, it was nice, considering that i was about to go insane i think. It's not so bad, watching twins, but somedays you just need a moment and then you realize you can't have that moment, cuz you can't really lock them in their closet, or anything like that. Today, i went to my church, and helped out with some stuff that needed to be done, then went home to pick up persimmons with my family. which you may not know what they are, but the are annoying. I like to pick them off of the ground and eat them, but for the most part to pick them up when it is cold and raining outside, just isn't the most exciting thing i would ever want to do. But yea, anyway, I better get going, need some sleep tonight, so i can get up and go to work in the morning!!

Scary noises leaving me afraid and trapped.

All of my friends seems to be doing this, so I thought I would start one up!! Be cool like the rest of them!!
In the last week, I have come face to face with a deer, who's main goal in life seemed to be to try and run me down. Lucky for it, I put on the moves and avoided the darn thing.
Had to find my sister, due to an interesting phone call from the police, ate dinner at my good friend Jon's family thing, and taught at a small group. Only to finish up with today, where I have just finished worship practice and am now hearing strange noises in the basement, which almost makes me scared to leave this room but it is my only way out. So see I am having a bit of a problem, but as long as i continue to write, than there is no need to leave. Only I can't stay here all night long, i must go home sometime. Geez, what to do?
